Keynote Address at the 2026 Summit on Climate-Resilient Agriculture

I recently had the honor of delivering the opening keynote address at the 2026 Summit on Climate-Resilient Agriculture in Nairobi. My presentation focused on the intersection of AI-driven genomics and modern agricultural biotechnology, demonstrating how we can accelerate the development of drought-resistant crop varieties. By leveraging machine learning models to analyze vast genomic datasets, we are significantly reducing the time it takes to identify critical resilience traits. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with fellow researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders who share a unified vision for a sustainable, food-secure future in Africa.
